Hello everybody,
You can (obviously) tell from the title that I'm going to stop this blogk this was definitely a hard decision to make but I always find it hard to write a topic! I started a blog because I was SO BORED! I'm not deleting this blog because I have links from other blogs that link to this blog!

You can still comment on this blog though! I'll still check emails that relate to this blog!

I hate to say it but it's permanently a goodbye!

Nominated For A Liebster Award!

As you can tell from the title, I got nominated for a Liebster award and I'm very happy and excited!! If you don't know what a Liebster Award is I'll quickly explain to you! The Liebster Award is meant to help promote small blogs/new blogs with 200 followers or less! It sends people to new blogs that they might have never knew!

Liebster is a German word that can be used as a noun or adjective that means sweet or dear!

Basically it's an excuse to have a lot of fun! Just Kidding!
I was nominated by Ashley from Dream. Live. Repeat and I actually did a collab post with her! Be sure to stop by her blog!

Liebster Award Rules:

If you get nominated you must:
  • Tell readers 11 things about you!
  • Answer the 11 question the blogger who tagged you created!
  • Create 11 new questions of your own for those you nominate to answer!
  • Nominate 11 other bloggers (with 200 followers or less) and then tell them they're nominated!
My Eleven Facts About Me:
  1. I'm extremely weird, geeky and crazy, so much, I wouldn't be surprised if people thought I was on drugs!
  2. I have a younger sister and she also has a blog! It's called Macaroon Style! She's my blood sister!
  3. I struggle saying the word 'regularly' something just tells me I can't say it right at all! *Goes to a corner and starts to practice saying regularly* Is it just me who can't say it?
  4. I love to travel a lot I've traveled to I want to say a lot of Europe! I hate having to wait on the the plane but I love getting 'ON' the plane!
  5. My favourite scents are vanilla and rose!
  6. I swear I could eat bubblegum ice lollies all day! They're so good, so if you ever see bubblegum ice lollies try the out!!
  7. My hair is naturally thin and healthy looking, but underneath my 'good' layer of hair it sometimes is so tangled!
  8. I love wearing and making friendship bracelets!
  9. I love Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande!
  10. My favourite book of ALL time is the Hunger Games, I haven't read the second and third book yet, but I know I have to get them!
  11. I love zip wiring and rock climbing and riding my bike and roller skating and skateboarding! *I think that's about it*
My answers to Ashley's Questions:
  1. What skincare and/or makeup products do you recommend for YOUR skin type? Any sort of face scrub that has texture to it (such as sugar, salt that sort of texture), Bioderma (for sensetive skin) and the 'Simple' brand products! They are so amazing!
  2. What does your nail care look like (Hint: products you use, colors of polish you like, are your nails will-maintained or bitten)? When I was younger I used to bite my nails, but I've stopped now! A way to stop myself from biting my nails is to paint any nail polish on my nails, that way I wanted my nails to look perfect so I stopped biting them! Oh, and my favourite polishes are pinks! I think pinks always look good!
  3. Who inspires your make-up and sense of fashion (Think: celebrities, make-up artists, YouTube Beauty Gurus, Beauty Bloggers) and why? People who inspire my make-up are, HauteBrilliance on YouTube, MissGlamorazzi on YouTube, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Yet Another Makeup Blog! People who inspire my sense of fashion are, MissGlamorazzi (again), Evelina on YouTube, Lauren Conrad, She Wears Fashion, and Our London Wardrobe!
  4. Describe your go-to hair and makeup look. Well for my hair I normally tie my hair in a high messy bun and for makeup I don't do my makeup EVERYDAY but if I do wear makeup I use concealer, powder, blush, do my eyebrows, eye makeup and tinted lip balm! Nothing to dramatic!
  5. How would you describe your sense of style and a typical day-in-your-life outfit? For Autumn I normally wear a t-shirt, a jumper, some tights, a cute skirt and converses or flats!
  6. What type of shoes do you most enjoy wearing and why? For Spring and Summer I like to wear converses and sandals and for Autumn and Winter I like to wear converses and boots!
  7. Does your profession affect your style? How so? My profession doesn't affect my style!
  8. Why do you wear makeup? I wear makeup because it's just something artistic and creative and I don't do much, the very least I'll do is use concealer and powder, so nothing too much! And NO, I do not wear makeup EVERYDAY!
  9. If you could choose another country to visit or live in, which would you choose and why? I would love to visit Venice and I would love to live in Scotland!
  10. Do you consider yourself a healthy person (eat well, exercise, use natural beauty products)? I consider myself semi healthy I don't take it to seriously but I do like to keep an eye!
  11. What is the best advice you have for others? Just be yourself, whatever it is, act yourself, dress yourself, look yourself! Just don't change yourself!
My Eleven Questions:
  1. Favourite scent?
  2. Pet peeve?
  3. Favourite blogs to read of all time?
  4. Favourite thing about blogging?
  5. Gold or silver?
  6. Favourite food?
  7. Favourite childhood memory?
  8. If you could visit any place, where would it be?
  9. Go to lipstick?
  10. You're stuck on a island with food, and your family, what three items would you bring?
  11. Favourite season?

For the eleven people I nominate, they are:
  1. Macaroon Style (my sister)
  2. Princess-Corner
  3. Modern Beauty Girl
  4. Fashion At Its Fall
  5. Yet Another Makeup Blog
  6. DharaPatelio
  7. Cous Cous & Cork Wedges
  8. All Things Anita
  9. Bunny Blossom
  10. According To Laura Jean
  11. Sewbon
It's hard to tell who has less than 200 followers since they all have a couple different platform that people may follow them through! I'm certain that all the people listed about have less than 200 followers if not it's pretty close to 200 and less!

Collab with Dream. Live. Repeat - Easy Wall Art

My name is Ashley and I write for the blog Dream. Live. Repeat. which features posts intended to inspire and motivate you to achieve your dreams, and find out what excites you. You'll find some of everything: tips on getting into shape, living a healthier life, dealing with love and loss, travel stories and tips, beauty, books, bloggers, great quotes, family talk and much more.

As you can see, I am passionate about many things and I love sharing those things with others. I recently came across the creator of this blog, Dreaming Up DIY's and she inspired me to try out a do-it-yourself project I have been itching to test out.

This simple project is perfect for anyone who does not consider themselves artistic. That said, I'm sure "artsy" people could really have fun with this project too.

Here is what you need:

  • White crayon
  • Light colored paper
  • Watercolor paints
  • Paintbrushes
  • Small cup of water
  • Small cup of water
  • Sketchpad and pen or pencil (optional)
Step One: Choose a word or phrase that you want to duplicate and decide where on the paper the letters will have to go (and the style you will use to write). I suggest practicing this (see my bonus tips below)!

Step Two: Write or draw your quote on paper using a white crayon. Make sure you write a thick line! It will not work well without one!☺

Step Three: Paint! Pick a color scheme or go bold and cover the entire sheet of paper.

Step Four: Let it dry. When it's finished hang it up or frame it!

Now you have a colorful, yet elegant piece of art!

Bonus Tips: Before getting started, I recommend practicing your handwriting in pen or pencil. Test out your script on unlined paper and try to write in a straight line, but remember - you can always use faint guide lines if you need to. Use cursive, caps and your usual script and if you still don't like what you see, buy or make stencils and color in the letters. Consider drawing something to paint over!

Check out a few of the ones I created below. Which do you like best? If you were to make one, what quote would you use? Have any ideas to spice this project up? Please leave your ideas!!

DIY: Shrinking Shoes!

How are all yo' all doing? Today I'm going to show you guys how to shrink your shoes! I have an older sister and a younger sister, so sometimes when my older sister doesn't fit her shoes she gives them to me, but they're just that tad bit to big! Like literally ½ a size to big! And they're the cutest shoes EVER! Well I started trying to 'shrink' them. Which I though was impossible...

But it's not! Let's start... NOW!

DIY: Lipgloss Lifesaver!

Have you almost finished your favourite lipgloss but you just can't reach the rest at the bottom? I know how annoying, you can't buy a new one cause you're broke...

Well today I'll show you how to get that lipgloss out of the tube!

To make this you will need:
  • Heat Proof Cup
  • Water
  • Kettle
  • Lipgloss
  • Tweezers
  • Scissors
  • Container
1. Start of by boiling up some water!

2. Once it's boiled pour some water in the cup, then put it into the microwave for 30 second intervals. Do as many time intervals needed until hot and so you can see some steam!

2. In the cup of hot water place your lipgloss in for 10 minutes. Make sure the lid is closed tight because you don't want any water in there!

3. After 10 minutes use your scissors and tweezers to remove the plastic stopper at the top of your lipgloss tub.
4. Pour your lipgloss into your container and you're now done! You can use the lipgloss right away!

DIY: Melted Crayon Artwork!

I'm going to show you all how to make melted crayon artwork!

To make this you will need:

  • Art Canvas
  • Crayons
  • Blow Dryer
  • Hot Glue Gun
1. Heat up your glue gun and glue down your crayons on the top of your canvas starting from left to right. You can use any colour crayons and you can place them in any order. I like to do them from lightest to darkest.

2. Turn your blow dryer on medium - high heat and hold your crayon canvas at a 45 angle. Then BLOW it!

3. Continue blow drying it until you get your desired effect.

4. Once you are done place the canvas down flat and let it dry.

That's it!

The great thing with this art is that if you're not happy with the final product you can use your blow dryer AGAIN and melt it cause' it's only wax!

DIY: Peter Pan Collars!

For today's blogpost I decided to show you guys how to make my FAVOURITE accessory. Peter Pan Collars look so good I just love them. If you don't know what Peter Pan Collars are I'll show you a picture.

The Picture:

This is from Dolly Bow Bow.

DIY: Bow Clips!

Yo, yo, yo!
Today as you can tell from the title, I'm going to show you all how to make DIY Bow Hair Clips...
TRUST ME, anyone can make them cause' it's that simple!

Here's a picture:
To make them you will need:
  • Fabric (an old t-shirt will work for this)
  • Scissors
  • Double Sided Sticky Tape
  • Hair Clips
1. Start of by choosing your fabric. Then fold it over and cut it.
Tip: Cut your fabric about ½ inch bigger than what you really want

2. Next cut the fabric to your size, cause' you know we obviously don't want a bow that's like HUGE!

3. Now use your double sided sticky tape and stick the edges layers together.

4. Take both ends of the fabric and fold it into the centre then stick it down with the tape.

5. Cut out a small, thin strip of the same fabric and put some tape on the back of it and peel the backing,
cause' we wanna get it ready!

6. Pinch the centre together and get the small, thin strip and wrap it around the fold.

7. You're almost done, all you've got to do now is just take the clip and tape it down and VOILA, your done!

DIY: Slave Bracelet!

In today's DIY blog post I'm going to show you all how to make slave bracelets! If you don't know what slave bracelets are they are basically a bracelet and a ring attached together.

Here's an image:
This was from Etsy!

To make this you will need:
  • Chains (I used the chain from an old necklace)
  • Jump Ring
  • Wire Cutters
  • Round Nose Pliers
  • Beads
  • Lobster Clasp
1. Start of by wrapping some chain around your finger, add a little extra chain about 2mm. then cut the amount of chain with your wire cutters, this chain is going to be your 'ring', you'll see why!

2. Next open up your jump ring with your round nose pliers, attach either side of your chain to either side of your jump ring then close the jump ring.

3. So we have the ring. We now need the 'bracelet'. All you have to do is wrap your chain around your wrist, cut it off. Add a jump ring to either sides of the chain and on one side attach your lobster clasp.

4. We're almost done, we just have to add the beads. With another piece of chain that is long enough to strech from the bracelet to the ring, add on the beads.

5. Just add on jump rings to either side of the beaded chain and attach the jump ring in the middle of your bracelet and your ring.

OK, so now we are finally done! I hope you all enjoyed this DIY, I had a lot of fun doing this!

That's all I really wanted to say in this blog post, nothing much really. I just thought I should tell you that you know what I mean!

DIY: Eye Primer!

I'm going to show you how to make eye primer, eye primer is so important when you're doing eye makeup, it makes your eye shadow last longer, have better pigmentation pay off, it helps stick on your eye shadow and it prevents your eye shadow from creasing! See how important eye primer is!

To make this you will need:
  • Unscented Body Butter
  • Liquid or Cream Foundation
  • Liquid or Cream Concealer
Step One: Start off by taking a one scoop of unscented body butter into your container.
Bonus Tip:
Be sure it's body butter and not body lotion, since lotion is thinner than butter it will make your eye primer very liquidy and harder to use.

Step Two: Add in some of your liquid or cream foundation into the body butter. Add in the same amount as your body butter.

Step Three: Scoop in a scoop of your liquid or cream concealer into the eye primer mixture.

Step Four: Mix everything all together until fully combined.
Your done! Yay! Continue to read on to find out how to use it!
How To Use:

Take a small amount of eye primer on your ring finger (use your ring finger as it has the lightest touch, so it won't drag your lids) and before you apply your eye shadow, apply the primer on your eye from your lash line up towards your brow bone.

Make sure you apply some on your lower lash line too!
Hope you liked this!

DIY: Orange Face Scrub

Exfoliating your skin every once in a while is crucial for healthy, smooth skin. Although actually buying an exfoliate can cost quite a lot of money, but is it really worth it?

Well you can make yourself your OWN one and know what products are really in it. Plus the ingredients you guys all probably have if not they're cheap...

At least cheaper than buying one...

Moving on *awkward silence*

To make this you will need:

  • Three Tablespoons Orange Juice
  • One Cup Sugar
  • Two Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • One Tablespoon Honey
  • Bowl
  • Spoon
1. Pour olive oil, orange juice and honey together.

2. Mix it all together.

3. Add in the sugar last so that the sugar doesn't dissolve. Combine it all in and it's done!

To apply...

Take a bit of the scrub and gently rub it onto your skin in circular movements. Don't scrub it on too hard though as it can leave your skin slightly red if you scrub too hard.
Once your done scrubbing wash it off.

I hope you all enjoy it!

DIY: Egg Facial Mask

Today I'm going to teach you how to make one of the best and easiest face masks out there!

To make this mask you will need:
  • Egg
Step One: Crack an egg and then separate the egg whites and egg yolk into two separate bowls.

Step Two: With the egg whites beat it up. REAL GOOD!

Your mask is now complete. Oh, and just to let you know we  WILL use the egg yolk, so now nothing goes to waste!
How To Use:

Start of with the egg whites first, apply this onto your skin in an even layer and let it set for twenty five minutes. Wash it off. Then for the second half of the mask, just apply the egg yolk onto your skin, again let is set for 25 minutes. Wash it off once again and you're done!
Hope you like it!

DIY: Deep Conditioner!

I'm going to show you all how to make deep conditioner perfect for when your hair is being very dry!

To make this you will need:
  • Avacodo
  • Olive Oil
  • Honey
1. Start of by getting your avocado and cutting it in half. The best way to do this is by getting the knife and cutting it vertically from the tallest point. Cut all around the seed. Twist the two halves and it should separate. Then just stick your knife into the seed and pull it out.

2. Scoop the avocado into your bowl and then mash it up with a fork.

3. Once you've mashed the avocado, add in one tablespoon of olive oil as well as one tablespoon of honey.

4. Mix it all together and now it's complete!
How To Use:

Grab a handful in your hand and start to apply it starting from the ends of your hair, slowly working your way upwards towards your roots. Once you have applied it ALL over your hair, tie it up and let it sit for thirty minutes before washing it out with some shampoo.
I hope you like this!

DIY: Newspaper Clutch!

OK, so I've seen the 'Newspaper Nail Trend' go around like HOT FIRE, I mean LITERALLY HOT FIRE! So I decided to go with the 'Newspaper Trend' I'd make a clutch using the Newspaper Trend!

To make this you will need:
  • Clear Plastic Envelopes
  • Double Sided Sticky Tape
  • Newspaper
  • Scissors
  • Old Necklace
  • Clear Folder Sleeve
  • Pen
Step One: We're going to be starting with the back side first, so grab your double sided sticky tape and tape it on the entire back section!

Step Two: Next rip up pieces from the newspaper, I personally like to use interesting patterns and colours as well as some text. (I used an old Lush Times... LOL! They have so many colours and patterns!)
Step Three: Place pieces of ripped newspaper on the double sided sticky tape and fit everything together like a puzzle piece.

Step Four: To make the newspaper pieces waterproof, tape double sided sticky tape around the edges of the newspaper clutch. Then cut the clear folder sleeve into two pieces and stick one of the pieces onto the tape. Try not to get air bubbles!

Step Five: Repeat ALL the steps above for the front section! Do the flap separately though!

Step Six: Do the same thing that you did for the front and back on the flap.

Step Seven: With a pen draw really hard around the the button area so the plastic and newspaper loosens the just pull out the plastic and newspaper over it!

Step Eight:  Put a thick book inside of your clutch to give it some shape and so it's not completely flat. I used the Hunger Games. Let it sit in there overnight!
Once you take it out...
Ta da! Everything's done. If you want to make it more of an a 'authentic' look you could stick fabric inside as a lining but it's kinda hard to do. But of course that's optional. ;)
